The first Central Plains Live is in the record books! Thank you so much to everyone who showed up, donated, or were with us in spirit (Carol, Fabian and Jennifer, especially). I had some wonderful feedback at the end of the show on what I could've done to make the show better, such as:
These were all excellent and I'd like to hear more. All of the halter classes were done by 3PM with performance wrapping up around 5PM. I think for a 6 division, 45 classlist halter divisions we did pretty damn well on time.
Use the 'Contact Me' link at the top to send an anonymous email if you'd rather not be named, or fill out your name and send me a suggestion or question.
Again, thank you to EVERYONE who helped make this possible. See you in 2015.

- China class tables up against the wall; less chance of breakage.
- Raffle and Auction tables in a more prominent location. It's limited access may have turned some people off to browse.
- Slower pace.
- Designated announcer or a designated announcement location for each judge to call their classes one at a time.
- A preset time to close the raffles and auction.
- No buy-ins, 3 horse limits instead.
- Make it a two day show!

October 10, 2014
Less than 24 hours until the Inaugural Central Plains Live.
Thanks to those of you who can make it tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to meeting new people and seeing old friends.
Because the show sold out with two months to spare, Christensen Field's Main Arena will host the 2015 Edition of Central Plains Live (tentatively October 10, 2015). It is located on the east side of the same building that houses the Friendship Center, the building we are using tomorrow. This room is almost three times bigger and will allow for far more tables. I will begin taking reservations for 2015 at tomorrow's show.
I can't wait to see everyone and am truly excited to host you all.
See you in Fremont!
